The hospital organisation is based on a departmental model with the intention of promoting professional integration within and between individual organizational structures, creating the widest possible participation, decentralization and collegiality in the strategic decisions taken by the General Manager relating to the development and delivery of healthcare benefits and services of a high technical professional and relational standard.

The primary and main healthcare function is integrated into a system together with training and research, promoted by the Management Trust and planned, implemented and managed at departmental level with the support of staff services. 
 
The above mentioned management model is integrated by Research Hospital for Advanced Technologies and Clinical Pathways in Oncology (provided with its own Articles of Association), in connection to the provisions of Regional Law no. 4, February 19, 2008.
