Overview

Born about 1870 as the library of the "San Lazzaro" psychiatric hospital , the "Carlo Livi" scientific library is today a modern public lending library specialized in mental health topics. The book heritage amounts to about 17000 books; the main topics are: psychiatry, psychology, neurosciences, pedagogy, addictions, social sciences. The library subscribes to more 130 current journals (many of them with online access) and also owns more 700 historical ones. Since 2013 there is a dvd section dedicated to film about mental health.

Internet connection is guaranteed with pc and wifi.
