Alessandra Grieco

I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2020 , following an internship in molecular pathology at Policlinico Sant’Orsola in Bologna, under the supervision of the Professor Dario De Biase. I obtained the master’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Bologna in 2022, after an internship at the Translational Research Laboratory of the Azienda USL - IRCCS in Reggio Emilia, under the supervision of Dr. Valentina Sancisi. My master’s degree thesis focused on the characterization of the functional and molecular role of the lncRNA TAZ-AS202 in lung cancer.

Currently, I am a Clinical and experimental medicine (CEM) PhD student at Università UniMORE and I am working on the characterization of the pro-oncogenic function of EGLN1 in KRAS-mutated lung cancer in the Translational Research Laboratory of the Azienda USL - IRCCS in Reggio Emilia.
