Eleonora Dufrusine
I graduated in Biomedical Laboratory Techniques at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in 2017.
I am currently obtaining my master's degree in Health Biology at the University of Siena.
During the three-year degree thesis internship I approached the role of Pathologist's Assistant in ex vivo confocal microscopy for the study of resection margins in Mohs surgery applied to basal cell carcinomas.
The skills acquired during the years spent in clinical diagnostic laboratories have allowed me to approach a wide range of techniques and analyzes of the clinical biochemical area of expertise in order to provide an accurate and differential diagnosis.
I also spent two years at the Antiblastic Drugs Unit of the Ramazzini Hospital where, as a pharmaceutical laboratory technician, I dealt with the manipulation of antiblastic drugs for the preparation of personalized oncological therapeutic schemes. This experience has allowed me to get to know old and new generation chemotherapy drugs in depth.
Since 2022 I have been a laboratory technician belonging to the Translational Research Laboratory of the AUSL-IRCCS of Reggio Emilia. My role is focused on technical support to Molecular Oncology Unit, assistance in clinical studies and lab management activities.
