Ludovica De Panfilis
Head of the Bioethics Unit. She graduated in Philosophical Sciences in December 2010. In 2012, she obtained a Master's degree in Palliative Medicine from the Academy of Palliative Medicine in Bentivoglio, where she delved into ethical communication at the end of life and bioethics and bio-law. In 2016, she obtained a PhD in Law and New Technologies-curriculum Bioethics at the University of Bologna, with a thesis on the Ethics of Care and Communication in Medical Health Care. Since 2016, she has worked as a researcher and bioethicist at the IRCCS of the Azienda USL of Reggio Emilia. She has been a member of the Ethics Committee of the Emilia Romagna North Area (AVEN). She is currently President of the Committee for Ethics in Business Clinics and a member of the Scientific Committee of the Italian Society of Palliative Care.
She is a lecturer in numerous university master's and advanced training courses in health care. In 2022, she obtained the National Scientific Qualification as Associate Professor in History of Medicine and Bioethics.
