Organization

As of March 2023, the Bioethics Unit is no longer experimental but is an integral part of the Forensic Medicine and Bioethics service. 
It consists of two health researchers working full-time and one part-time researcher. 
The Bioethics Unit also coordinates the "Scegliere" service dedicated to citizens, patients and health professionals and aimed at giving support in writing Advance Directives and the Committee for Ethics in the Provincial Clinic, a multidisciplinary body dedicated to institutional ethical support for health professionals.
