- Development of the “Reggio Emilia Parkinson Biobank” in collaboration with the ASMN Research Biobank, aimed at collecting and storing biological samples from patients with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders for research purposes. Through the Reggio Emilia Parkinson Biobank, different types of samples are continuously collected and stored to be used in specific research projects.

- Study of Axial and Cognitive Symptoms and Biomarkers of Neurodegeneration in Brain-first and Body-first PD (BRABOAXPD) (ClinicalTrials.gov ID NCT07187843).
- Clinical-instrumental phenotyping and longitudinal biomarker analysis in patients with genetically determined Parkinson’s disease (FABIP-PD).
- Evaluation of clinical and instrumental responses of motor and non-motor symptoms to foslevodopa/foscarbidopa therapy in patients with Parkinson’s disease (FOSPARK).
- Participation in the Glut1 Deficiency Syndrome Registry.
- Analysis of serum neurosteroids in patients with idiopathic Parkinson’s disease and Parkinson’s disease associated with GBA gene mutations (NEUROSTEGBA).
- Study of the association between axial symptoms, cognitive alterations, clinical-instrumental measures of motor function, and cerebral beta-amyloid deposition in patients with Parkinson’s disease treated with bilateral STN-DBS (BASCOSTIM-PD).
