Radiomolecular Biology
This section conducts preclinical research activities in the oncological field, with a particular focus on the biological aspect in the study of new radiolabeled molecules. Each new radiotracer is evaluated on biological samples through stability assays to ensure that the molecule remains intact in vivo for a sufficient time to allow proper localization in the target tissue.
The new molecules are then tested in vitro on tumor cell cultures through studies of uptake, internalization, and externalization to assess their affinity and specificity for each tumor type.
